Civil Process Fees
Fees for Service of Process by the Clear Creek County Sheriff's Office are as follows, pursuant to §30-1-106, Colorado Revised Statutes "Service must be made on tender of fees". Which reads: "No sheriff shall refuse to serve any writ, summons, or notice requested by any person entitled to such service, when offered or tendered the fees allowed by law for such service; nor shall he charge, demand, or receive any greater sum or compensation".

Evictions
- Forms and instructions for evictions and other
Colorado civil legal processes can be located
at: www.courts.state.co.us
- Eviction's may be scheduled after the service
of the Writ of Restitution. Evictions are only
done on Tuesday's and Thursday's between the hours
of 11:00am - 2:00pm. A deputy will stand by for
up to two (2) hours to keep the peace. A charge
of $50.00 per hour will be charged for evictions
lasting more than two (2) hours. It is the responsibility
of the landlord/agent to provide adequate manpower,
bags, boxes and any other supplies necessary to
remove contents from the dwelling. Abandoned pets
found during an eviction will be turned over to
Animal Control.
CANCELLATION POLICY: A 12 hour notice must be given to cancel a scheduled eviction. If notice is not given, you will be charged a fee of $50.00 to cover processing, administrative costs and deputy call-in.
