Animal Control Division
The Clear Creek County Animal Control provides for the humane treatment of stray, neglected and abused animals.
Our responsibilities include the enforcement of local and state animal control laws, the humane capture and treatment of unwanted animals, investigation of animal abuse, neglect, cruelty, and the provision of emergency transportation and care of injured animals within the Clear Creek and Gilpin Counties.
We wish to provide our professional assistance for the health and protection of the residents of Clear Creek and Gilpin Counties.
We also investigate animal bites, nuisance animals, unlicensed domestic pets, and aggressive animals.
